Do I need insurance coverage for my booth and what needs to be covered for h+h americas?
Yes, you are required to have liability insurance as specified below. Exhibitors are requested to confirm through the Exhibitor Service Portal that they have obtained this insurance. We will also provide an Insurance Provider vender you can use in the Exhibitor Service Portal.
Exhibitors need trade show liability insurance to cover common claims, like:
- Medical bills for slips, trips, and falls
- Repair costs for venue damage from your booth
- Legal fees for wrongful claims from customers
Our show requires the following coverage:
A liability insurance policy to cover risks incurred by exhibitor or its officers, employees and agents arising from or relating to its participation in the event. Exhibitor is required to obtain liability insurance in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 and to list Koelnmesse Inc., 8770 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60631 as additional insured. A certificate of insurance must be available, and with the exhibitor at all times, if requested from the show organizer onsite.
